How do I increase the microphone input gain for simple audio recording ?

Looks like a slew of great, desirable features for a clumsy and ill-informed oaf like me, but my intentions were all in good faith. I just wanted to be able to build a modest but long-term home studio to write and record both midi as well as audio instruments and vocals as quickly and easily as possible. What are the specifics of how DAW mode will control plug ins in Studio One?

This DAW Control Addendum is a bit vague on what exactly Control Link will do on the SLIII32. Will I be able to choose the order that those parameters appear across the Fat Channel knobs? If the number of parameters spill over past 8, can I page through them from the fat channel page buttons? Are the number of pages set to 2, or will it expand for plug ins with a ton of parameters? And if so, will it remember those assignments for every instance I use of that plug in without having to assign knobs every time I instantiate it? Can the knob in the master control section be assigned to scroll the timeline, or zoom functions?Is the new timeline basically indefinite again due to the "nasty bug" or are you guys still thinking that it will be out by the end of December? March will be a year I've had this console, and DAW control is what I bought it for. I was more than willing to wait the first ETA you guys gave, then that became Q4 2017 (almost gone), wasn't happy but it still felt like it could be worth it. iPads will no longer connect to studio computer via UC Surface

I have a single studio computer that is connected to a Studio 192 on it.  I have an iPad (OSX version 9.3.5) that is running the latest version of UC Surface (2.5.0.45267) that used to connect just fine to the studio computer, but has recently stopped connecting.  When I start the app on the iPad, it shows the studio computer (and the correct IP address) as a possible connection, but when I tap it, nothing happens.  I tried installing UC Surface same version to a new iPad (running OSX 11.2.1) and the exact same thing happens.I have verified that Universal Control is allowed thru my firewall, as well as verifid that the PresonuseHardwareAccessService.exe is also allowed thru the firewall, and I have also verified that UDP port 47809 is allowed thru the firewall.  The studio computer's UC Surface software connects fine and I can control the mixer and all functions from the local computer, but not from remotes and this used to work.  I have followed what (very) scant troubleshooting information is available on this and a few other boards, but nothing works.  It's not a deal-breaker, but I really do like have the UC Surface running on the iPad for quick changes to settings as well as b Recent Questions...

where are my plugin thumbnails and studio one loops

hi, my 3rd party plugin thumbnails and the studio one loops have suddenly dissappeared from studio one 3 after downloading an izotope plugin,where are they and how do i get them back? the presonus ones are still there.

my plug ins are missing

i have arturia analog lab and analog lab3 ( original, not fake, of course)

after upgrade studio one3, all plug ins are missing, i could not find the way to put them back, and the projects what im working on, now missing the plug ins, so i can not continue...

any chance someone can give me a hint or something?

file not found, Help me Please

When I'm going to export the audio Studio one 3 does not find the locations of the audio files.
Studio One 3 professional does not allow me to save as or export, when I order studio one to search the audio files the program replies that the files are already present

added a vst location thats was too big

so im using studio one 3 artist on windows 10 just upgraded to be able to use 3rd party vst's i added my entire c drive to vst locations and i know it waed me about it being slow. it caused the program to crash. now every time im trying to open studio one its taking forever my guess is due to it searching my entire c drive. do i have to just let it be or is there a way to get the program back to basic settings before i added the c drive location. how do i recover tracs that were recorded over with dante buttons pushed during playback

Why are my Presonus E4.5 monitors producing such low sound?

Hello. I have a pair of Presonus E4.5 monitors/speakers. They worked fine when I bought them in 2014/2015. I used them primarily to play play music recorded on Studio One and for basic Inteet use. But after a year or so of solid use, I noticed that the volume was considerably lower. It wasn't an issue on my PC, such as the mixer's volume being down. Here recently, I moved. I just set up the speakers, and the volume is even lower. It is coming out of both speakers, and it is equally low. The speakers are set up properly. The metal ends of the red and black cables are attached properly. The guitar-type cables that run between the L and R outputs on the back of the left monitor are plugged into the Audiobox USB interface correctly. I'm beginning to think these things are just defective. This is the last time I'll see if I can find an solution for this problem before inquiring about a warranty. Thanks. Recent Questions...

High Court Declines To Compel The University of Nairobi To Allow Senator Mithika Linturi Graduate

Meru Senator Mithika Linturi will not be participating in the University of Nairobi graduation ceremony on Friday after the High Court declined to compel the institution to add him to the list. Senator Linturi had moved to court on December 11 to challenge the University’s decision to deregister him as a law student for allegedly presenting fake papers to get admission. 2017 KCSE: Results Of 10 Schools Suspected To Have Cheated Withheld 

The 2017 KCSE results of ten schools will be withheld following suspected malpractice in the institutions. Education CS Fred Matiaang’i said this while speaking at Nairobi School on Wednesday. Court Orders Moses Kuria To Pay Martha Karua Ksh.6.5M For Defamation

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has been ordered to pay KSh6.5 million to former Justice Minister Martha Karua for damaging her reputation. Ms. Karua sued Kuria after he claimed she procured witnesses in the case against Deputy President William Ruto at The Hague. Setup steps to integrate Studio One and Notion 6

Looking for assistance with the setup to integrate Studio One and Notion. These are both new products to me.
There are some posts about which audio driver to use. I've tried both ASIO4All v2 and Windows fault.
All info I've read says to enable ReWire in Notion which I have done. Others say to Allow Network Discovery while some say but not both. So I'm, well lost!

Studiolive series III 3d model or dimensions

I need a 3d model of the studiolive III 16 channels. I have found one on google sketchup but there is only 32channels available on the library.I also can't see any documents about the dimension of this mixer. Old Drivers

Hey, can I just have a copy of the old program that connected the AudioBox iTwo to my PC (Windows 7, 64 bit) ? The old program, before Universal Control, worked absolutely fine, and I recorded with it quote a bit.

but uninstalling the old program & "upgrading" to Universal Control led to:

  • Computer failing to recognize AudioBox, computer displaying errors with the drivers of the audiobox when recognized
  • 5 hours of troubleshooting with no results whatsoever
  • 2 dozen guides on how to treat possible issues, with no results,
  • probably a dozen Reinstalls and uninstalls, including ones where i went to and deleted files in 'appdata' and 'prefetch' folders as recommended by the official Presonus answers, with no results
  • I also switched off between different lengths of cables, with, you guessed it, no help

Playback input monitoring

I’m a new owner of the Presonus Quantum. I’ve been using an FP10 for along time, probably near a decade. Is there a way to control the input/playback on the quantum like the input playback knob on the fp10? Also the headphones seem rather low. When I tu up the main knob everything comes up, obviously, but I have to tu my monitors off to have the headphones loud enough because they get to loud and bleed into the recording room. I generally work with hip-hop artists who bring me their beats and I import them into Studio One and play it back while they record. Recent Questions...

Not what Persons Support have told me..

Butch from Presonus told me that using multiple Quantums as an aggregate device will have the same low latency as a single Quantum. Has anyone experienced anything different?
